Add Optima to Claude Code

The Optima plugin adds the Optima MCP connection and the /plum:recall skill to Claude Code. You need Claude Code installed and access to the email address on your Optima account. Choose either installation route below.

Run these commands in your terminal:

claude plugin marketplace add hero-not-found/plugins
claude plugin install plum@hero-not-found --scope user

User scope makes Optima available to you across projects on this computer. Start a new Claude Code session, then follow Connect your Optima account.

This silent video shows the Customize → Plugins route in Claude. Plugins enabled on your Claude account sync to Claude Code when you start it signed in with that account. You only need one installation route.

Open the video, or follow these steps:

1. Open Claude's Plugins page.

2. Choose Add → Add marketplace → Add from a repository.

3. Paste the marketplace repository and choose Sync:

4. Find Optima and choose Add.

5. Open Optima's Connectors tab and choose Connect. Sign in to Optima and approve the requested permissions.

6. Start Claude Code signed in with the same Claude account. Check /mcp and complete any remaining authorization prompt.

For a terminal installation, open /mcp in Claude Code, select the Optima server, and choose its authentication option. Your browser opens Optima sign-in. Enter your email and six-digit code, review the permissions, and approve the connection. Return to Claude Code when authorization finishes.

Try this prompt:

/plum:recall Summarize my conversations from today.

Claude should call Optima's tools and include recording times and turn references in its answer. If today has no transcripts, ask about a day when you recorded. A successful empty result means the connection works but no conversations match.

If the skill is missing, check /plugin for Optima and start a new session. If the tools need authentication, open /mcp and authorize Optima. Installing through the terminal makes the plugin available on this computer; it does not add it to your Claude account. Avoid also adding the same endpoint as a standalone MCP server.
